Carolfest is just around the corner! On Friday, December 9th, we will gather at Immanuel to sing our hearts out, celebrate our Lord, love our neighbor, and enjoy some good eats. The early festivities begin at 5:30 pm. The courtyard between Rolling Hills and Immanuel Church will come alive with warm lights and friendly faces ready to warm things up. Come by the grill to pick up a few hot dogs, then swing by the drink station in the breezeway to fix a cup of coffee, whip up a hot chocolate with marshmallows, or sip on some warm apple cider! Don't forget to save some room in your stomach for another round of treats because, at 6:00 pm in the Cafe, we're hosting our first-ever Immanuel kids and students cookie contest!
Kids Carolfest Cookie Contest
Who: Any child or student at Immanuel
What: at least 1 dozen cookies each

How: Prizes will be awarded based on taste & appearance in these age categories:

How: Prizes will be awarded based on taste & appearance in these age categories:
- 6 years & under (parental involvement understood)
- 7-12 years (limited parental involvement)
- 13-18 years (no parental involvement)
At 6:30 pm we will head into the worship center for a time of worship, song, fun, and fellowship! During our time together, the winners of our cookie bake-off will be announced. At the center of our time together will be story time, which allows us to reflect on God's love and the gift He gave us in Jesus.
All of our giving is in response to His ultimate gift in Christ. Our mission is to make the real Jesus non-ignorable in our city, and Carolfest gives us a practical opportunity to do that through our ministry to Park Avenue Elementary. Over the last month, our kids have been collecting NEW closed-toe sneakers in toddler size 10.5 up to adult size 8, especially kids’ size 5-13, AND new coats from 4T up to adult sizes for Park Avenue students in need. Carolfest is the grand finale, where we bring gifts on behalf of the school as an expression of God's generous gift in Christ to us!
