“For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you—that is, that we may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith, both yours and mine” (Romans 1:11-12).

We love being together at church on Sundays, but you may have heard the buzz about a winter storm heading our way this weekend. With this weekend’s forecast calling for significant icy conditions that could make travel hazardous for many, the elders have decided, out of an abundance of caution for your safety, to cancel Sunday services at Immanuel on January 25.

As we bundle up this weekend, the pastors of Immanuel are happy to share a video resource to warm you up: a roundtable conversation about our journey through Romans thus far! The video will be available Sunday morning at ImmanuelNashville.com.

A few other schedule updates:

• Membership Seminar: rescheduled for Sunday, February 8
• Immanuel’s Ladies Night: rescheduled for Friday, January 30
• Monday Night Men & Women’s Gathering: postponed until Monday, February 2
• Wednesday Night Ministry: We’ll share an update early next week

We plan to continue our regular Sunday services and classes on Sunday, February 1. All are welcome! Until then, we are praying for your safety and joy in Christ this weekend.
